There were several patents in progress for Paradigm Genetics/Icoria and papers I would have been a co-author on planned once they issued but the company folded. I was the primary on one utility patent. The company that bought the IP once Icoria shut its doors paid me to document the work but ultimately decided to retain the algorithm as a trade secret and not patent it.
